You cannot inspect a clinic's hygiene from the waiting room. So here is exactly what we do.

Autoclave sterilisation

Every reusable instrument is scrubbed, pouched and steam-sterilised in an autoclave before it touches the next patient. No exceptions, no shortcuts.

Single-use where it matters

Needles, gloves, suction tips, bibs and barriers are used once and disposed of safely — in front of you, from a sealed pack.

Surfaces disinfected between patients

The chair, light handles, tray and every touch point are wiped down with clinical-grade disinfectant after each appointment.

Safe, measured X-rays

Digital radiography uses a fraction of the radiation of old film. We take X-rays only when they will change the treatment.

We explain first. What we are doing, why, what it will feel like and what it costs — before we start.
Raise your hand, we stop. Immediately. You are always in control of the appointment.
Thorough numbing. We wait until the area is fully numb. We do not rush this to save time.

Safety FAQs

How do I know the instruments are actually sterile?

Sterilised instruments arrive at the chair in sealed autoclave pouches and are opened in front of you. If you ever want to see the autoclave or the sterilisation area, ask — we will show you.

Are dental X-rays safe?

Digital dental X-rays deliver a very small dose — far less than older film systems. We only take them when the image will genuinely change your treatment plan, and we shield you properly.

What if I feel pain during treatment?

Raise your hand and we stop immediately, top up the anaesthetic and wait. You should feel pressure and vibration — never sharp pain.

I have a medical condition. Should I tell you?

Yes — always. Diabetes, heart conditions, blood thinners, pregnancy, allergies and any regular medication all change how we plan treatment. Tell us at the first visit.
