Does an extraction hurt?
The area is completely numb, so you feel firm pressure but not pain. Any soreness afterwards is managed with simple pain relief.
Do all wisdom teeth need removing?
No. If they are healthy, fully erupted and cleanable, they can stay. We only recommend removal when they cause problems.
How long is recovery?
Most people are back to normal in two to three days. Swelling peaks at 48 hours and then settles.
